ENVIROFAN

ENVIROFAN

The ENVIRO FAN is a revolutionary new water driven bathroom exhaust fan that is designed to be installed in the plumbing of your shower. The fan only utilises the power of the water already being used, before it goes to the shower head. The fan has no electrical components and switches are not required. The ENVIRO FAN turns on whenever a shower tap is turned on and turns off when the shower tap is turned off.

PRODUCT BENEFITS

The ENVIRO FAN can be positioned directly over the shower where it is most efficient and unlike an electric fan is not constrained by having to be 1.5 metres from the shower rose. This prevents the bathroom filling with steam, as the fan is able to remove the steam where it is generated.

There are no switches required, as the operation of the fan is fully automatic (your taps become the switches for the fan).

The ENVIRO FAN is fire safe as it has no electrical components.

There are no operating costs as the ENVIRO FAN requires no electrical power. This of course contributes in a small way to less power being required which is a positive environmental factor.

The cost of the fan is comparable with its electrical equivalent and the cost of installation is the same as that for an electric fan.

The extraction efficiency is at least equivalent to the electrical version.

The ENVIRO FAN reduces steam build up, which in turn reduces mildew and painting requirements.

The ENVIRO FAN is quiet when running, due to no motor noise as it is fully lubricated by water at all times.

The ENVIRO FAN is guaranteed for 3 years.

The Enviro FAN requires 12 litres of water per minute to operate efficiently. Most standard shower roses and single A rated water saving shower roses should allow this, provided there is reasonable pressure in your lines (At least 30 psi in lines that are reasonably clear.)

The ENVIRO FAN is designed to be installed in the water line between the combination and the shower rose. The fan will run when any either of the shower taps are turned on.

EPC recommends that if you are doubtful about your water pressure or volume, simply test that you can fill a bucket of water with 12 litres (3 US gallons) in one minute or less
